MOVING DAY

[ the school grounds are swamped with cargo-filled vehicles, and people all around are exchanging teary-eyed goodbyes with family members and lugging heavy bags full of their belongings around. it's going to be a busy day of settling in, newcomers, but you can probably commiserate and help each other bring in your belongings, before relaxing outside with ice cream that the RAs are giving out as a reward for your efforts. fun times! ]

[ Miku spots the girl from a couple feet away, and instantly dashes over to help her. she's already got most of her own moving in done, after all, and it would be terrible to just leave someone on their own like this! setting her keyboard case on the ground, she crouches down, and picks up the other girl's bag with both arms. it takes some discernible effort, and her legs wobble a little, but she successfully holds the bag out to Marceline all the same. ] Here!

[hisses]

Huh? [[she manages to peek over her tower of baggage.]] Oh, man, I'm sorry! You don't need to help me, I'll get it. Jeez...

[[she grabs the bag, frowning a little.]] I have so much junk, I didn't make it very easy for myself, huh?

I'm sure it's not junk if it was important enough for you to bring along! Are you sure you don't want me to carry a--

[ aaand that's when she actually manages to get a half-decent look at Marceline's face, oh my god what is that ]

... ny... thing...

[hisses]

Well, when you put it that way, I guess it's not junk, but it's getting on my nerves, so it's starting to feel like junk...

[[ she looks up. she knows that look, she knows it very well. without missing a beat, she grins, showing off unnaturally sharp canine teeth. they're fake, of course, but high quality. ]] Is something the matter?
