MOVING DAY
[ the school grounds are swamped with cargo-filled vehicles, and people all around are exchanging teary-eyed goodbyes with family members and lugging heavy bags full of their belongings around. it's going to be a busy day of settling in, newcomers, but you can probably commiserate and help each other bring in your belongings, before relaxing outside with ice cream that the RAs are giving out as a reward for your efforts. fun times! ]

anyway, she's now making her final trip to the dorm, guitar carrying case slung over her shoulder and keyboard carrying case in hand. her eyes are a little puffy from the aforementioned crying, but she's all smiles and excitement! now, she'll just put these in her room, and she can get to looking around and meeting people--
ah... wait, was she supposed to turn left here? she's in room 203, but the one in front of her is 145... ]
Oh, geez...
[ not to be so easily disheartened, she turns around and starts walking the other way. she's already made three trips there today, she's sure she remembers the way to her dorm room, even if it's only subconsciously!
... probably!
(somebody please help this obviously lost-looking girl.) ]
no subject
Huh.
[Korra sees a sweetlooking girl in front of her. She suddenly has a flashback to her first day lugging her bags around the entire campus before somebody finally turned her in the right direction. She knew she absolutely had to help.]
Hey there. Lost?
[She pulls an arm over her shoulder, shrugging non-chalantly as possible like the super cool sixth year she is.]
I'd love to help you out...

It would be terrible of her, an upperclassmen and someone who has already been at the school for quite some time now to just leave them wandering aimlessly with no direction, wouldn't it?
She sees someone with teal colored hair -- she watches the girl, going one way before stopping and then turning to walk in the opposite direction. Oh dear, the poor girl... ]
Excuse me! Can I ask which room you're headed to? I can show you the way.

Aha! Target sighted!
[With a grin and a leap, Madoka dashes down the hall, skidding to a halt just in front of the poor girl. Laughing, Madoka raises herself and gives the girl a good, pat on the shoulders.]
You're lost, aren't you?

[[look over to where the angry bellows are coming from, and you'll see one rather peeved looking, make-up caked (what's with that eerie shade of grey?) girl doing a hilarious juggling act. she's not doing the best job, though, as she's dropped one of the large bags onto the ground.
there's a frustrated sigh as she lowers herself to grab the bag, while still holding onto the numerous other ones, as well as a guitar case AND a laptop carrier. apparently, she has no parents or friends around to help her, but she's trying to damndest to make due by herself.]] If I could just see it... Ugh! [[she's blindly reaching for the fallen bag's strap, her vision blocked by the other bags in her possession.
she's in need of assistance. it seems she's so over worked, that her makeup is starting to come off from the sweat!
... that's actually kind of gross. she would understand if you stayed away.]]

Thus, she's been roaming around the front of the campus helping the moving in, well, move in.
She's kneeling down in front of a fallen student, attempting to pick up their bag. ]
H-Here, let me get this for you... [ Except not really, because with her noodle arms, well, she's actually not that helpful. She's struggling to pick it up ]

[...N-No matter, no matter! She's got a map! She's not even lost, the building Bon...illa? is right in front of her. How do you even pronounce that, is it like "Bone-illa" or "Bo-knee-la"?]
[...Well, that is a mystery for another day, it's time to go upstairs and find room 201. It's a simple number, it shouldn't be hard to find at all.]
Let's see here...

[Have a extremely lost first year looking around, trying to find her way in with little success. She's got a pair of really big looking suitcases which stands to reason the little girl had dragged it all the way there.]

[Instead of a suitcase, Pinkie Pie's got this red wagon filled with what seems to be random junk, like kites and vuvuzelas and a very lifelike stuffed alligator.]

She approached one of the other girls who also had ice cream. "This is just like camp, only for longer." She sounded excited about it, taking no notice of the other girl's expression.

[to those of you who are coming to Achtenberg for the first time, you'll be greeted with the odd sight of a girl, clad in orange jersey and short hair pulled up in a frontal ponytail, standing on top of some boxes piled on top of each other. she's got a wide smile on her face, and in her hands she's waving a flag reading WELCOME back and forth.
to those of you who aren't coming for the first time, you'll recognize this girl as Madoka Kyouno, infamous leader (and only member of) the "Jersey Club," a group which basically exists to help anyone on campus (or around town) do... pretty much anything that requires needing help. so this kind of thing isn't that uncommon a sight, if you've heard of the girl, but then again-- seeing is believing, right?
oh, and now she's approaching you. what do?]
Hi there! Have a good summer?
no subject
Well, hey there, Madoka...right? Thanks for helping me find my Lucky ball last year.
[[She smiles thinking on the memory. The two searched everywhere before finally finding it under her old roommate's bed.]]
The summer was okay. Way too hot for my tastes. The sun is *evil*. [[She shudders.]] How was yours?
