[ the school grounds are swamped with cargo-filled vehicles, and people all around are exchanging teary-eyed goodbyes with family members and lugging heavy bags full of their belongings around. it's going to be a busy day of settling in, newcomers, but you can probably commiserate and help each other bring in your belongings, before relaxing outside with ice cream that the RAs are giving out as a reward for your efforts. fun times! ]

Ah, a two-handed style! It's been passed down for some time. [She sets down a pile of clothes, undoing the cloth around the hilt.] They're rather sharp, so do be careful. [And goes back to the task of sorting her clothes and other small things she brought.]

She'd figured her sabre wouldn't violate the no weapons policy since it's dull and buttoned and not really much more dangerous than a large stick. That argument might not sound as convincing if there are actual swords lying around the dorm room, though.] Where do you plan to keep these?

My school, I suppose! The Konpaku school, it must be called... Though it's been quite some time since I've seen my teacher.

[She watches her study them, not very worried... until she poses the question.] Ah, well, I was thinking about just keeping them under my bed here, but... W-Well, I mentioned very briefly that I had them when I applied, but I was not told I couldn't bring them, that only firearms were forbidden, if I recall... Do you think it will be an issue?

I see! [She doesn't, really, but close enough for now.]

Well, if they told you that, I'm sure it's fine! If someone has a problem with it, you can just direct them to whoever gave you the go-ahead.

I guess I should have asked this earlier, but what year are you? I'm year four.

Right, yes... Hopefully it won't be any trouble, I, I keep them tied shut often.
