[ the school grounds are swamped with cargo-filled vehicles, and people all around are exchanging teary-eyed goodbyes with family members and lugging heavy bags full of their belongings around. it's going to be a busy day of settling in, newcomers, but you can probably commiserate and help each other bring in your belongings, before relaxing outside with ice cream that the RAs are giving out as a reward for your efforts. fun times! ]

[Madoka shakes her head solemnly, hearing this. It just won't do at all!]

I'd be more concerned if I left you to search! What's your room? I'll help you.

The, ah... Room 201, here in Bo... This building. [Nope, not going to mess up the pronunciation on day one; best to wait until someone else says it.]

Er... [Can she thank you now? Might as well try.] Thank you.

Ah-- Bonilla? [She smiles brightly, giving the girl a pat on the shoulder.] You'll get it in no time!

Heh! [Madoka nods now, making a wiiiiiide circle in the air with her finger.] Peferct! Don't mention it, okay? I'm glad to help.

Ahh... What year are you, then?

[She smiles widely, wrapping one arm around the girl now and snagging one of her bags with the other.] Well, you're doing better than me then. I had trouble with everything when I moved here.

Me? Sixth! Been here for a while now too.

Ah -- I can carry that on my own, really! [SO TOUCHY-FEELY. This is so alien to her.]

Is, is that right, well, what's your name? ...And really, I can carry that just fine, so... [She attempts to take her bag back.]

No no no! I insist you let me. [Business as usual here!]

Madoka! Madoka Kyouno! [She'll swiftly scoot away from the girl, snagging the other bag as she detaches. You can probably guess she's had some experience here - and with this, she starts to march.] Come on, don't worry about it - it'd be my pleasure to!

But -- Ahhh... [She follows after her, figuring it's... probably best not to argue with an upperclassman.] I'm... Youmu Konpaku. [Be nice, be nice, she's helping you!] ...Thanks.

Youmu, huh? [Madoka nods to herself, adding the name to her memory] Hey, like I said, don't mention it! If you ever need anything, make sure you come to me, okay?

Right, I'll... keep that in mind. [Well, it's good to see there's a... diverse group of students here, at the very least.]

You'd better! It's what the Jersey Club is for. [you can say that again]

[She pauses at that, unsure what that's supposed to mean... but in lieu of asking she keeps quiet, just nodding and following after her.]

[Oblivious to that (or maybe just used to it), Madoka continues on, humming a tune even, as she contiues onward! Kidnapped bags along with her.]
