MOVING DAY

[ the school grounds are swamped with cargo-filled vehicles, and people all around are exchanging teary-eyed goodbyes with family members and lugging heavy bags full of their belongings around. it's going to be a busy day of settling in, newcomers, but you can probably commiserate and help each other bring in your belongings, before relaxing outside with ice cream that the RAs are giving out as a reward for your efforts. fun times! ]

So what else do you have to unpack?

I've got a few sets of clothing, odds and ends, and oh a laptop so I can talk with my parents. This is my first time away from home after all.

Wow, ever? So you never even went outside to play or anything?

[Of course Pinkie would take that statement literally. Of course.]

Huh? Oh no no, I've gone outside and played with friends, and I have them too. It's just that this is the first time I've been out on my own, living in a boarding school.

I see! It's really exciting and fun, you'll love it!

Yeah you're right of course. I hope my roommate isn't too mad...

What, you mean Korra? Nahhh don't worry about her, she acts all tough but she's actually really nice!

Oh yeah, I bet in no time you'll both be the best of buds and sneaking out at midnight to play pranks!
